by Renata McCoy last modified 2007-05-08 10:27

Goal: Learn about VCS's primary objects.

The VCS model is defined by a trio of named attribute sets, designated the "Primary Objects" (also known as "Primary Elements").

These include:

  • the data, which specifies what is to be displayed and are obtained from the "cdms", or Numeric modules;
  • the graphics method, which specifies the display technique;
  • the picture template, which determines the appearance of each segment of the display.
